Membership
ISACA’s membership— more than 65,000 strong worldwide—is characterized by its diversity. Members live and work in more than 140 countries and cover a variety of professional IT-related positions. Some are in the most senior ranks, others are at middle management levels and still others are new to the field. They work in nearly all industry categories, including financial and banking, public accounting, government and the public sector, utilities and manufacturing.
But, as much as ISACA’s members are diverse, they share a common purpose—taking the lead worldwide. The forward-thinking member leaders of ISACA have created IS auditing and IS control standards adhered to by practitioners worldwide; developed research pinpointing the professional issues challenging our constituents; and produced the Certified Information Systems AuditorTM (CISA®) certification, which is recognized globally and has been earned by more than 50,000 professionals, and the Certified Information Security ManagerTM (CISM®) designation.
